SWAPBOT: See Inside My Home

Welcome to my home! I live in southeast Wisconsin, only a few miles from Lake Michigan in an arts & crafts four-square built in 1917.
(Click on photos for a closer look)

The front entry...
french doors into the living room, coat closet with original mirror & original hooks inside.

The nursery. The cherry wood crib & furniture keep with the feel of the rest of the house. My daughter's room is currently in transition (being painted, etc. this week. It will be turned into a "historical colonial feeling" room...per her request.

Looking from the living room into the dining room.

All the wood & built ins are original to the house.

Just a few of my vintage hats (I have over 40) and vintage gloves. The bonnet on the form is from when I've done Civil War reenactment. (This is in my office.)

Art glass in the living room (yes, it is original to the house).

Detailing in the
staircase...long thistles.

Our beautiful, antique pump organ(yes, it does work & I do play it) and an oil painting of my great-grandmother.

Our bathroom shower curtain. (The whole bathroom is black & white.)

Stained Glass in the dining room, which my husband made.

back to the front entry ...thanks for visiting!

Cool house, very traditional craftsman. I can see the character of the style throughout. Have a good day, Jennifer

Beautiful house! Love the craftsman details. The picture of your great-grandmother is amazing! You are so lucky to have it.
